The mass devastation of Hurricane Harvey is still unfolding in Houston and the surrounding areas. The storm has caused unprecedented flooding throughout the region, which is expected to intensify as the rain continues to pour in the coming days. The destruction caused by this storm has impacted countless families, local businesses, and even our friends in the multifamily industry.

At this time, there are several apartment communities experiencing extreme flooding. Many communities are scrambling to find alternative housing for their residents and manage the aftermath of the storm. These events serve as a solemn reminder of the importance of planning before tragedy strikes. The question is, do you have a comprehensive plan in place in the event your community is impacted by a catastrophic storm or other disaster?
