Preparing Your Team for an Active Shooter
Just last month our friends in Gainesville were rocked by a tragic incident that resulted in the claiming of the lives of two apartment employees and a third team member kidnapped. Our teams interact with people on a daily basis in some of the most personal aspects of their lives, shelter and employment.
On April 13th at the AAGO offices we will be offering a free class (space is limited) for AAGO members with the goal of equipping you with the information you need to prepare for an incident at your office or community. Our presenter will be Officer Derwin Bradley with the City of Orlando's Police Department. Officer Bradley is a longtime friend of the industry and the association, and has extensive training in this area.
It's our hope that none of us experience a violent incident or additional losses, but it is incumbent upon us to be prepared.
