Next Year's Leadership Line Up

This month, as required by the AAGO Bylaws, the Nominating Committee convened to select the people who will provide oversight, guidance, and leadership for the association in 2018.  This task is both difficult as it is critically important to the health of the association.  I was honored to be asked by Ricardo Alicea, 2017 AAGO President, to Chair the Nominating Committee this year, and privileged to work alongside some amazing AAGO leaders who have contributed so much of their time and talent to AAGO.

The Nominating Committee this year included:

  • Lauren Kerby, AAGO Past President, CPS, Inc.
  • Diana Gaus, AAGO Associates Vice President (2016 & 2017), The Liberty Group
  • Heather Powell, AAGO Director (2015 - 2017), PRG Real Estate
  • Natalie Cavaliere, AAGO Director (2015 - 2017), Cambridge Management Services

This year we were presented with an exceptional group of highly qualified candidates, and very limited spots in which to place them.  The committee spent several hours reviewing candidate profiles and qualifications, and recommends the following 2018 Slate of AAGO Officers and Directors.  Note:  The full slate will be put up for ratification by the membership at the September 13th AAGO Dinner Meeting (click here for information on the Dinner Meeting or to register).  Newest additions to the slate or new role have been underlined.

Thanks once again to all of outstanding candidates who expressed interest in serving on the AAGO Board, and to those who have committed to service.  Lastly, I would be remiss not to thank my fellow Nominating Committee members for your thoughtfulness, deliberation, and professionalism in the performance of this difficult task.

If you have any questions about the process please contact Chip Tatum, Chief Executive Officer, via email.
